Baby in Bloom Baby Shower

This past Sunday, I hosted the sweetest Baby in Bloom baby shower to celebrate our baby girl, Audrey. Since this is my second baby, I wanted something more relaxed and intentional. We kept it small, intimate, and focused on spending quality time with the people who came.

I considered it more of a baby sprinkle. I didn’t need big items and really just wanted a beautiful afternoon filled with thoughtful details, good food, and meaningful conversation.

The Setting

We hosted the shower at Estero Country Club, which was the perfect setting for a floral-inspired event.

The shower was held on a Sunday from 1–3 PM, which ended up being the perfect amount of time. Long enough to enjoy everything without feeling rushed or drawn out. Keeping the guest list small made the entire event feel calm and personal.

Invitations & Welcome Sign

The invitations and welcome sign were both ordered from Etsy and set the tone as soon as guests arrived.

What I Wore

I wore a long white dress that felt comfortable, flattering, and perfect for a spring baby shower.

Food & Drinks

I created a custom menu using Canva, which helped everything feel polished and intentional.

Guests were able to choose from different lunch options, and we also included:

  • A mimosa and mocktail bar
  • A churro bar
  • Macarons and a candy bar for something sweet

Tables & Details

The table setup tied everything together and kept the Baby in Bloom theme front and center.

At each place setting, we included Baby in Bloom wildflower seeds and custom soaps for guests to take home.

Activities & Games

Instead of overloading the schedule, we kept activities simple and interactive.

We also played a few lighthearted games from Etsy, including Guess the Celebrity and What’s on Your Phone.

Bloom Bar

One of my favorite details was the Bloom Bar, where guests picked a vase and flowers to create their own bouquet to take home.

Decor & Backdrop

The backdrop was created by a professional using inspiration I gathered from Pinterest. It completely set the tone for the shower.

Gifts & Personal Touches

I chose not to open gifts during the shower. I wanted guests to relax and enjoy the afternoon without feeling like they had to stay for a long gift-opening portion.

My husband and son joined at the end of the shower, which was the perfect way to wrap everything up.

Final Thoughts

This Baby in Bloom baby shower was everything I hoped it would be — beautiful, relaxed, and full of love. If you’re planning a baby sprinkle or second baby shower, keeping it small and intentional truly makes all the difference.
